Kim Wilde helps campaign to get 'Vienna' to no. 1

April 5, 2010 - During her weekly radio show 'Secret Songs' on Magic FM, Kim has helped the campaign to get Ultravox's 'Vienna' to number 1 in the UK singles chart.

The song was requested by Chris Bird in the March 28 edition of 'Secret Songs', adding information that Ultravox fans are trying to right the wrongs of history. Back in 1981, 'Vienna' was kept from the top spot in the UK singles chart by 'Shaddap your face' by Joe Dolce. Downloading the track between April 4 and April 10 from the links listed below will help get the track to number 1, 30 years later.

A similar campaign helped decide last year's Christmas number 1 in the UK. Thanks to many downloaders, Rage against the machine won the position that would otherwise have been claimed by X Factor winner Joe McElderry.

If you want to help get 'Vienna' to number one, you can read more information here or simply go to one of these retailers and download the track directly (UK residents only).

•Amazon.co.uk - 89p
•Play - 70p
•iTunes - 99p (track 3, Single Version)
•HMV - 99p (track 3, Single Version)

If you want to buy multiple copies, please make sure you buy just one from each of the different sources, to prevent Vienna from being excluded from the chart.
